I just arrived back from Havana 16th June I stayed for 5 nights. On the 4th night I woke up at 3am. A man was negotiating the rate and The conversation was utterly explicit and very clear. The house has 4 rooms on offer. They put the prostitute and the man in the room next to mine; the two other rooms in their home were left empty.
There was a shared bathroom between us. The man used the shower before beginning the transaction with the prostitute. As the other rooms had been empty when I went to bed I did not lock the door from the bathroom into my room. I lay frozen in bed hoping the man would not come into my room. I am sorry to admit that I did not march out first thing in the morning. I had one night left and I had paid in full. I decided that I would have my bags packed and leave if it happened again on my last night.
It did. At 4am another prostitute and client showed up. I grabbed my stuff and left. I went to the Hotel Nacional across the street where the staff allowed me to wait for my bus to the airport 4 hours later. Use this place at your own risk. The service was phenomenal and the location was incredible. It was the perfect place to spend my vacation. The hospitality was like no other.
