Part of simg tourist trip - was pleasantly surprised with hotel and got a voucher for a massage. Thought the place would be professional and reputable due to it being through a tour company that we booked in England. Turns out the massages were by girls in underwear who also offered to finish my partner off while in a seperate room to me.
At the end they also insisted we tipped them. Absolutely disgusted!!!!! We took a 3 day - 2 night tour to Mekong with The Sinh Tourist company and we came here as the scheduled hotel for the second night. We expected a lot before getting there since the staff at the tour company told me about the promotion event with this four star hotel included in the tour price. The tourguide asked the front desk staff to change the room for us to a better one with river view since he thought this was our little honeymoon trip It's very nice of him and we appreciated that greatly even though we wondered why he would have given us that special treat.
We were happy with a spacious room but not the great view since the blind was so heavy to open. More than that, we were not comfortable to leave it open since the balcony was shared for a whole floor people can walk by and just look through into the room We walk around to check the room and my husband found a dead roach on the bathroom floor and a molded tea bag in the pot.
It smelled horrible when he opened the pot. We were so dissapointed and wondered if they cleaned the room or not. Of course, I called and asked for someone to clean them. It took them a little while to come up. We saw them at the elevator and the cleaning ladies didn't trust me when I said there was a dirty tea pot in the room. She also testified that they did the insect and bug control very often but I really did not know how she could explain when she saw a dead roach with her naked eyes. We went to check the swimming pool.
The water was dirty with full of the leaves and stuffs. No one was there of course. We walked back to our room and guess what, my husband found something crawling on the bed.
