Hey all, Istanbul looks like a wonderful city , I've some hotel offers, and for this one I can't find reviews, I donno where is Aksaray, whether it is centered or not, if it is a good hotel, or if it's gonna be more trouble than comfort I want to learn more about room and hotel services and facilities I actually can find reviews for it.
Hi Strana; I haven't heard of our hotel but it is located in Laleli which is a commercial area, away from the historic district of Sultanahmet. There are a wide variety of hotels in Sultanahmet to suit all travelers. A lot of hotels like the Hamidiye are sold by consolidators and they just want to fill rooms.
Tell your travel company, Sultanahmet. If you are booking a flight and hotel see if you can get another hotel. Thank you, I called many travel agents these days, all the hotels they gave me don't have reviews, and basically around the same place The website doesn't look that bad, we are not hotel people, i just wanna make sure i can get the luggage i need, my laptop, my cameras, and will be safe there, also because i am staying for 7 nights And I donno how easy will getting to downtown or to tourist places.
Hamidiye is obviously not a recommendation but it looks good, also with the swimming pool and the offer is pretty tempting. I've also asked for hotels in Sultanahmet area based on your recommendation, i'll wait for the answer, although they don't have offers At the moment I've 2 options, either accept what they offer or replan the whole thing on my own.
Hey, I am still there, it's not that bad, or at least not as bad as I thought, it's on a walking distance from sultanahmet, like minutes??
