You can say I am a nature loving, tech and science geek that is co-creating business, places, and services with plants and humans. A little long for a title, right?
Look, all of us have challenges, it is how you deal with them that matters most. I was one of only two women in my major at my university graduation. I went directly into a field that was dominated by men. I am tall ish , loud, hard-headed, and a negative person by nature—critical, gossipy, and generally see the dark side of life.
I have fought these feelings all my life. In my 20s, after a particularly hard time when I cried every day, I chose to be different. I made a commitment to become who I want to be. In my 30s, after realizing that I was lonely on my journey, I made another important choice: I chose to call in community.
