There are over , orphaned children on this small island and thousands suffer from malnutrition. In we met a Dominican couple named Ramon and Juana, who with little income were educating 50 children in a chicken shed. We were touched by their love for the children of Monte Plata so we built them a school.

We sent two containers full with clothing, food and school supplies for the victims and we rebuilt the houses of four families. A campsite was purchased for the school to host yearly summer camps allowing hundreds of local children to have fun and enjoy nutritious meals.
